A Long Long Break + The BIG Move

It's been a long time since I last updated my blog but I m quite happy to find out that a few of my friends do make the effort to read it. It's really a cheerful thought to know that someone else wants to find out more abt what I m doing and how I m coping with my life in Hanoi.

Actually, a lot has happened in March but I just didn't have time to blog it down! I really can't believe it myself, I mean, here I m complaining tat I dun have anything much to do and there I m saying tat I have no time??? Where is the sense? But it's the truth and nothing but the truth. To recap quickly what I have done in March.. I went to watch my first piano concerto in Hanoi Opera House on 12 March 2007. We got the tickets quite last minute but I enjoyed myself quite a bit (less the bug bites tat I ended up getting on my legs!). However, the performance also made me realise how little I know about music. There were a few famous pieces played (I remember one piece was from "The Nutcracker") but I honestly had no idea. So ignorant right?

I was back in good old Singapore for close to 2 weeks and tat's when there's totally no updates in my blog. I mean, I really squeeze all my time in Singapore to catch up with my family, friends and collies. Still missing them v much now... Sometimes I also help to babysit my two lovable nieces, Aa and Yy. They are the cutest little toddlers I have ever met and I love them so much. I hope that when I have my own children, they will be as cute as my two nieces. :)

I came back to Hanoi on 29 March 2007 and immediately started packing my stuff. Guess why? We have finally moved! After a month long of ding-donging between the agent, landlord and us, we finally CAN move. I must say tat this is one of the most effortless house moving I have ever made because with the help of our two domestic helpers and drivers, we really didn't have anything much to do except direct where our furniture was to be placed and unpack our personal belongings. And seriously, I LOVE the end product! My new house looks more cosy and comfy. I guess I feel so strongly because this time, I m involved in the selection of furniture this round so there is a great sense of achievement for me.

More pictures will be posted soon so do keep a lookout for them. I have having a time squeeze here becoz my laptop crashed recently and now I have to use my husband's laptop and he's like fighting with me over it becoz he wants to play Civ 4 -Warlords. Sigh... I realise that having a spoilt laptop can actually get me into slight depression... :(. Ok, till my laptop is up... tadah!
